God’s Love For Humanity

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
John 3:16-17 (KJV)

I recently attended our annual Church Festival to learn together and share with my fellow Christian brothers and sisters God’s love for us all—this love for humanity and one another given to us by God’s only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, through believing in him.

He loves us so much and doesn’t want us to perish but have everlasting life, to be saved.

As a believer, this applies to my daily life walk as a Christian, knowing and having a personal relationship with him. Believing that on the cross he sent his only begotten son to die for my sins and those of all humanity. This promise of Eternal Life comes from God our Creator, and therefore, if God be for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:38-39 says, “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor heights, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Heavenly Father, thank you for your love for humanity, reflected by sending Jesus into the world. We believe in his word and rejoice that we will not perish but be saved through our Lord, Jesus Christ.
