One Great Family

“And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth…”
Act 17:26 (NKJV)

Looking at the portrait of my family, I began to think, when and how did it begin. The answer is found in the Bible! God created man and woman in His own image and likeness. He named them Adam & Eve and told them to multiply and these are our family roots. Evolutionists think otherwise because they are blinded to the glorious miracle of life. The Bible says we are wonderfully and fearfully created by God and we are His children. On this beautiful planet earth, we see many nations with many tongues and diversity of cultures as one great family through Adam & Eve.

Out of these billions of human beings, presently God has chosen a special people to be His Family in Christ Jesus, the head of the church (1 Peter 2:9; Colossians 1:18). We are bound by the Holy Spirit in perfect harmony (1 Corinthians 12:13). God the Father sent His own beloved Son as the Lamb of God to take away the sin of the world (John1:29). We learn from Genesis that God chose Abraham and promised that in him all the families of the earth would be blessed (Genesis 12:3), through his Seed (Genesis 22:18).That Seed was Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:16).

In the news we see the world is desperately seeking peace, but they do not know the way to peace. There is good news that at the return of Jesus Christ and under his reign, all nations will be at peace and harmony, and the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. Then there will be no more wars. A peaceful world in harmony and unity whose voices will be joined as one great family, becoming one in Jesus Christ (Isaiah 2:1-4; 11:1-9). God will be our Father and we will be His sons and daughters and He will dwell among us, according to 2 Corinthians 6:16-18.

This is the summation of the whole Bible from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22, revealing the ultimate great family of God. He is the Father of all mankind.

Father of glory, thank You for your plan of salvation. It is glorious. In Jesus’ name, I pray.

Not all evolutionists are atheists. Evolution is scientific and not anti God.

Got something to say?
