The Brethren

“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had.”
Romans 15:5 (NIV)

We are all in isolation and only make urgent trips, shopping trips and not forgetting our daily exercise allowance and keeping an eye out for everyone.

Those that know me know I like to talk. I am not much of a writer but under Lock Down I have a bit more time to think and put the Church and Brethren first.

As the scripture says, it is a good thing to have a great attitude like Jesus did. At these current times it is a good idea to connect, and maybe call people you may not usually call. Personally I have put a few calls in to people I may not have always thought of—I see them weekly and say Hi, Hello, etc., but again lets talk, encourage and take note of our Brethren around us.

The Brethren, us and our Church family are very, very important. Once we all go back to our churches it will be such a delight—it will be like after the Christmas/Summer break when members are holidaying and elsewhere—it will be a joyous occasion.

At this current time, I would like to encourage you, and I am very, very sure you are already, to think of our other members.

Technology is a wonderful thing and I love it! But nothing beats the vibe, and the face to face connection, we have with one another when in services, the shaking hands and the odd cuddle. Thanks be to our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Our Great God, at this time we look to you for your outpouring of encouragement and love, that we can take time to look at your Bible and think of others. Our church Brethren are so, so important and we look forward to seeing them again very soon.
