Home Office Re-launch

“Then He who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new.’
Revelation 21:5 (NKJV UK)

Grace Communion International has moved its Headquarters Office 2,400 miles from California to North Carolina. We are ‘re-launching’, or re-positioning ourselves to be more effective in how we fulfil our calling and Christian service. On the East coast we are physically closer to two-thirds of our US churches. Serving our pastors and our churches is our primary purpose, so in essence we have re-located closer to our ‘target community’.

There were many challenges in making this move—settling into new homes and new office space at the same time. There were, however, equally many amazing stories of how we saw the Holy Spirit guiding us through the entire process. Working with a smaller staff, our goal is to provide the same level of care for our pastors and churches at a lower cost. We view this as right-sizing, to be an agile team with the right people in the right positions. The cost of doing business is lower in North Carolina than in California, so once again this meets our goal of being good stewards. A new office means a fresh start with fresh opportunities.

In our individual Christian lives we need to be willing to consider how we fulfil our calling and Christian Service. This challenges us to make moves—changes in our lives and approach to be able to better carry out the Great Commission Christ spoke in Matthew 28:19-21 to go into the world and witness of the good news of God’s grace, his sacrifice and love for all; teaching how learning of God’s will brings peace and joy both now, and in the future coming Kingdom of God at Christ’s return.

Holy Father, thank you for what you provide. You have given us a commission and you have provided the means to pursue that commission. Help us to be ready to change when necessary to be effective witnesses. We ask that your blessing continue to rest on our new HQ, the building, the staff and the activities carried out. And we give you thanks for your many blessings. In Jesus’ name we pray.
