Washed By The Blood Of The Lamb

“And from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood.”
Revelation 1:5 (NKJV)

When we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, all of our sins, past, present and future, were covered by the blood of Jesus Christ—washed away, removed, forgiven. He paid the price for ALL of our sins with His own blood! How amazing is that?

He now lives in us through the Holy Spirit, as he promised in John 15:26, “But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.” And then Ephesians 3:16-17 tells of that fulfilment: “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.” We all have that Helper living within us. He is there to help us in every area of our lives. He is there to help us to prepare for our positions in God’s coming Kingdom. We now have a helper to help us live our lives to the glory of Jesus.

Jesus will never give up on us whenever we slip or fall (as we all do at times), but will always be there to pick us up and help us move on. When ever Satan tries to remind you of your sins, tell him they are covered by the blood of Jesus Christ! Praise the Lord.

Father God, thank You for sending Jesus Christ to pay the price for all of our sins with His own blood.
