The God Of All
“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?”
Jeremiah 32:27 (NKJV)
God created all human beings. Yes, He is the God of Israel, and had a special purpose and relationship with them, but He is also the God of the Greeks, Romans, the Turks, Africans, Germans, Indians and all other people, because He made them too, for His purpose (Ephesians 1:7-12).
Psalm 145:9 is a comforting scripture that says, “The Lord is good to all: and His tender mercies are over all His works.” God has a plan for everyone. All are made in His image. Acts 17:24-27 says He intends us, in every nation, to learn to live in peace and harmony here on the earth.
Because God loves someone else, does not mean that I am not loved by Him. We can all rest in the assurance that God loves every one of us and always wants what is best for us.
Prayer
Father of all, thank you that you love every human being. We are all created in your image and ask that you help us to reflect that image to others. In Jesus name.
Amen
