Enjoy Life

“The thief does not come except to steal, kill and to destroy. I have come that they might have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
John 10:10 (NKJV)

Jesus came to this earth in order to free us from the burden of sin. He did this because He loved us all so much. He who never sinned, was willing to die on the cross and to cover all our sins with His own blood. He rose from the dead on the third day, winning the victory over sin and death for everyone who calls on the name of Jesus.

Psalm 16:11 says “You will show me the path of life: In Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Jesus wants us to be happy and to ENJOY our lives today and every day! He sent His Spirit to dwell in us and the fruit of the Spirit includes joy and peace (Galatians 5:22) Why should we be sad? We all have a wonderful future to look forward to in this life and the next! Psalm 51:12 speaks of the joy of our salvation.

Let us all put a smile on our faces and press forward. It will not always be easy but we need not fear for Jesus is always with us and He will never let us down! Hebrews 13:5 says “Let your conduct be without covetousness, be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you.” And that is a very good reason to enjoy life!

Prayer
Father God, thank you for sending Jesus so that we can enjoy our lives in this world and the next.
Amen
